Pop-Up Art Show at Point Prim Lighthouse

Point Prim is one of my favourite places to paint. I go there in all seasons to paint the sea and soak up the fresh salt air. I was delighted to be invited to be part of the Annual Point Prim Social put on by the Friends of Point Prim. It was also the opening of the Tea Room at the Lighthouse (the Tea Room will be open on a regular basis next year- this was a preview) I brought paintings of the Point Prim area as well as a few other local scenes. This video gives you a look at the surrounding area which I love painting so much, as well as view of the exhibition and a view from the top of the lighthouse. I am pleased to support the Friends of Point Prim, who maintain the lighthouse and surrounding grounds. Under their care, they have renovated the interior, improved access to the shore with benches and picnic tables and installed a series of interpretive panels.
