12 Minute Dumbbell Workout for Moms | Full Body Fat Burn at Home (Low Impact + Beginner Friendly)
Welcome to Mommas Who Move! I’m so glad you’re here to move with me. This quick and effective 12-minute dumbbell workout is designed especially for busy moms who want a full body workout at home—no complicated equipment, no long time commitment, just real results. We’re using just one pair of dumbbells (I’m using 9 lbs for reference), but you can choose anywhere from 5–10 lbs depending on your comfort level. This is a beginner-friendly, low impact workout, so you can move safely while still getting your heart rate up and building strength. This routine combines strength training and cardio bursts to help you burn calories, tone your muscles, and boost your energy, all in just 12 minutes. Workout Format: • 6 exercises total • 30 seconds per exercise • 30 seconds of low impact cardio between each move ➡️➡️ Repeat the full circuit twice Exercises Included: • Squats (lower body strength, glutes, and legs) • Shoulder Press (upper body and shoulders) • Deadlifts (hamstrings, glutes, and core) • Bicep W Curls (arms and upper body definition) • Narrow Squat to Suitcase Squat (lower body endurance and control) • Alternating Front Raises (shoulders and core stability) Cardio Burst: Low impact jumping jacks…keep it simple, keep it moving. Add a bounce if you want, or keep it completely low impact. The goal is to stay active and elevate your heart rate.
