The lack of parking space markings in Block 302 of Sudoeste (DF) has caused problems for residents, businesses, and drivers. Without horizontal signage, many vehicles park haphazardly, wasting spaces and hindering traffic flow. The problem also affects spaces reserved for the elderly and people with disabilities, which, in some cases, only have vertical signage, almost faded. Residents say the situation has been ongoing for more than two years. According to them, several requests for revitalization have already been submitted to Detran (the Department of Transit), but so far, no intervention has been carried out. In a statement, Detran informed that it is executing a schedule for the revitalization of horizontal signage in different regions of the Federal District and that the restoration of markings in parking lots of commercial and residential blocks is planned within this schedule.
