Insulation with TechnoNIKOL Carbon Eco 50mm extruded polystyrene foam is shown; in practice, 100mm is used in Moscow. In this case, the EPS serves as insulation and partially as a vapor barrier. The EPS is then treated with a base reinforcing layer of Baumit StarContact adhesive for SFTK Wet Facade and Bautex Krepix 2000 4x4 mm, 165 g/m², Facade Glass Fabric Mesh. After the base reinforcing layer, various finishing options are possible, including facade putty and paint, decorative plaster.
