Hand Unloading with a Tail Lift at an Event in Germany | Truck Driver Life

Today’s job takes me to Essen, Germany for something a bit different — unloading by hand using the tail lift on the trailer 🚛 No forklifts or cranes this time, just manual work and steady trips up and down with the lift. It was for a sales event setup, which was actually something new for me as I haven’t seen these types of events before, so it was cool to experience a different side of deliveries. Not every trucking job is big machinery and fast unloads — sometimes it’s just you, the trailer and getting stuck in. That’s real truck driver life.
