America 250 Became A Global Embarrassment

America 250 was supposed to be a great celebration. July 4th, 2026 marks the United States’ 250th birthday, but the world does not seem to be looking at America with the same admiration the U.S. expects. In this video, I react to America’s 250th birthday, the weak America 250 celebration, a BBC report asking people around the world what they think of the United States, and a Reddit video where British people say they would never move to America. And honestly, the message is not good for the United States. The U.S. still has power. Nobody is denying that. But power is not the same as trust. People around the world are now comparing America to Canada and other countries on healthcare, safety, rights, education, stability, quality of life, border concerns, political division, gun violence, abortion rights, and whether the American dream still means anything outside of America. As a Canadian, I think this matters because Canada is being compared to the United States in a very different way now. The world is not just looking at tourist destinations anymore. They are looking at trust. They are looking at stability. They are looking at whether America is still a country people want to follow. America 250 may be a birthday celebration inside the United States. But outside the United States, it feels more like a global performance review. And the world does not look impressed. e-7319 (Foreign affairs) https://www.ourcommons.ca/petitions/e... GTL Community Photo Map https://google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=1R...
