What if you can't buy primers for handloading, DIY ammo option I have taken my primer experiment to the next level. This is an updated and improved version of my original experiment where I tried to see if it is viable to reuse spent primers, and remake them into something useable.    • What if you can't buy primers for handload...   The results are more satisfying, and effective. I am able to launch cast rifle bullets from a 7mm-08 rifle with Alliant Unique powder, almost to equal velocities as a load with factory CCI primers.
