   / @vintagestereocollectorchannel   This is my new DIY Audio Rack for my music room to replace a stereo cabinet I've had for seven years. The rack was designed to fit in a limited existing space between my KEF 104/2 speakers and to allow for the display the beauty of my stereo gear and for ease of swapping gear (amps, preamps, CD player, cassette decks, and tuners) from time-to-time. My friend and neighbor was kind enough to allow me to work with him in his garage/shop to build the rack. I later sanded and finished the shelves and legs in my garage. I provide some simple sketches of the front and side views so that others might use them to create/build their own rack, maybe longer and/or wider. The shelves are purchased from Home Depot and are birch butcher block counter tops cut to size. The legs were planed and cut from a slab of African mahogany my friend had on hand.
