Alicedale learners in the Eastern Cape return to a crumbling, unsanitary school

Learners at the Hendrik Kanise Combined School in Alicedale in the Eastern Cape have returned to a school this term that remains not conducive to teaching and learning. The buildings are in a dire state and have never been refurbished since they were built in 1969. The school houses more than 500 learners from Grade R to Grade 12. The walls are crumbling and the sanitary system is a health hazard. For more news, visit sabcnews.com and #SABCNews on all Social Media platforms.
