The Lady in Black - This is a short film about the Connacht, a Galway Hooker built around 1842 in Connemara. The Connacht was purchased by Con McCann and restored with the help of Bobby Scott, in Strangford Lough. Con's regular crew were Peter Clarke, Joe Taylor and Raphael McIlhone. Tragically the Connacht went down off the east coast of County Down on 28th June 1989. Con McCann was lost at sea, along with his crew member Audrey Cannon. RIP. Part 1 of 2
