Cute video of a baby elephant, two weeks old, getting used to standing upright and stepping on his trunk. Whipsnade Zoo, Bedfordshire, UK. The Asiatic baby elephant was born on 12 April 2010 and the video clip was taken 2 weeks later. His mother is Karishma who was then12 years old. His weight was 124 kilos. Due to the little bent on his tail, he was unofficially nicknamed 'bent' by zoo staff but he was soon given his proper name 'George'. London Zoo and Whipsnade Zoo are run by the Zoological Society of London (ZSL), a charity dedicated to the worldwide conservation of animals and their habitats.
