Teaching Grade 1 ABRSM to 6yo boy who easily gets bored ft. Isabelle Ng

Heya! So I’m in Hong Kong now helping this 6yo boy with his piano journey. He easily gets frustrated, but you can hear we have “educated” him to say “whoops” when he makes a mistake instead of freaking out. Really proud of him! Noticed that I avoid “drilling” in detail, or if I do, I set a challenge for him so he doesn’t find it boring. Anyways, this is his BEST lesson yet - no yelling, screaming. He was calm, YAY!!! Also, he has VERY WEAK arms, thats why we do staccato scales and technical work to help build his fingers muscle.
