Frisco & Felicia: the engagement movie

with the Asian Quarter caper soundly wrapped up, Frisco and Felicia are on the precipice of domestic bliss. Picking up on a conversational thread from a tryst in the park (asian quarter part 125), Felicia wants to close a deal Frisco brokered during that passionate moment. Frisco & Felicia greet each other once he's back in town from helping to rustle up the Council of 6. They kiss, he checks the mail. Fortuitously, his last record has yielded royalties. Felicia is already the Lady of His Heart, and now she's becoming the Lady of His House as she plans how they should spend the money. After a brief stopover to visit their hysterically blind friend, Jade (or soon to be or whatever), they rendezvous at the jewelry store to spy the wares. Frisco goes all New Male for a moment and thinks he's evolved past the need for symbols. Felicia brings it home that a concrete symbol gives their abstract, albeit real love, some legs to stand on. She bails on the Jewelry store and suddenly Frisco can only think about rings. . . The balance of power shifts and reshifts in this little vignette. They both want it. and each other. Happily Ever After.
