#86 :Avington Trout Fishery Clear Water and Monster Trout

Going Back to 2023 the fishery sold and the gossip was that the new owner was going to concentrate on new accommodation and the future of the actual fishing was unsure. I started hearing a few reports of it fishing very well, with a good head of fish and lots of big browns. So I phoned up and had a good chat with the new manager, Tom White who is a great guy with good plans there for the future. So I put together a crew of 8 and we had a cracking day. There were fish everywhere, Rainbows to 10 lbs, and big hard-to-catch browns. We were all very impressed with the work they've done so far and I would say the stock level of the fish in the lakes was high.
