On July 12, 2026, the staff of the Fann National University Hospital Center (CHNU), including medical, paramedical, administrative, and technical teams, mobilized for their traditional annual walk, organized by the Central Social Services Department. Under the theme "To Help the Patient, I Participate," this initiative's main objective is to support the most vulnerable patients while raising awareness of the importance of solidarity, health, and well-being. This year's event brought together numerous participants and partners who came to demonstrate their commitment. The Fann-Point E-Amitié Town Hall, deeply involved in social initiatives, honored the event with the presence of its representatives. The Avion-Ouakam City Hiking Club, a regular participant in this annual event, also took part in this solidarity walk, reaffirming its commitment to the values ​​of health, sharing, and civic engagement. On this occasion, the Director of the Fann University Hospital Center (CHNU) expressed her sincere gratitude to the Central Social Services Department, as well as to all participants and partners for their support. She also encouraged patients to join health insurance plans to fully benefit from the advantages offered by Universal Health Coverage (CMU). Covering more than 20 kilometers through the streets of Dakar, this hike was once again a resounding success.
