A motion to suspend Dawid Kacprzyk's license to practice medicine will be filed with the Medical Court. The Supreme Medical Chamber is investigating the irregularities surrounding his work in Warsaw hospitals. President of the Supreme Medical Chamber, Łukasz Jankowski, announced on Wednesday that the Chief Medical Liability Advocate has initiated disciplinary proceedings against Dawid Kacprzyk. "We have agreed that he is reviewing the material with a view to filing a motion with the Medical Court to suspend his license to practice medicine for the duration of the proceedings," he said. Last week, representatives of the Supreme Medical Chamber submitted a notification to the Professional Liability Division regarding the doctor's suspected absence from duty. Based on this notification, the Advocate has initiated proceedings and will investigate whether there may have been a violation of medical ethics or legal provisions. "We strongly believe that each of the allegations must be investigated. With patient safety as our top priority, we cannot allow such incidents to continue," Jankowski said.
