Behringer NX6000D Power Amplifier Repair (With Audio Tutorial)
Fault Amplifier not powering up. Amplifier board unplugged from the switch mode power supply board. D30 and D29 Schottky rectifier diodes on the switch mode power supply board checked. D30 found to be short circuit. (IR10 0422L) Both Didoes replaced SB1100 (100V - 1A) Switch mode power supply retested, powered up correctly and all DC voltage present. Amplifier board reconnected and the Amplifier tested. Right channel working correctly no Audio from the left. D30 was also running very hot. Thermal imaging camera used to check for heat spots. Amplifier Board IC16 / IC17 IRS20957S Mosfet drivers very hot, Amplifier de-powered and the swich mode power supply disconnected. Resistance checks made; no measurement difference noted when compared to the right channel. IC16 / IC17 both replaced but issue not resolved. Amplifier board replaced Part number 703081 Rev D-02
