Captain America: Civil War and Batman v Superman are very similar movies. In both, we see the icons of each studio clashing because they are being manipulated by a superpowered villain, and both films have a subplot about the mother of one of the protagonists that is key to triggering the conflict. But Civil War was a success for Marvel, while Warner considered Batman v Superman a failure.
