Bang Ju-an (33), a Vietnamese daughter-in-law in her 13th year of marriage in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province, leaves for work early in the morning and returns home exhausted. However, the cause that makes her life most difficult is not the strenuous work, but something else entirely. That cause is none other than her mother-in-law, Yoo Bok-soon (74). Whether at home or out, she is always impeccably dressed, from her makeup to her clothes. At their first meeting, the mother-in-law welcomed her with a smiling face, and she decided to marry her because of her kindness, even more so than her husband. However, now in her 13th year of marriage, the mother-in-law's smiling face has vanished, and she has reportedly changed into a completely different person. As if something is bothering her, the mother-in-law's expression when standing before her daughter-in-law is always indifferent.
