This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. . Václav Dejčmar is an economist and one of the major shareholders in the brokerage firm RSJ which ranks among the largest players on the world's financial markets. RSJ’s hedge funds are responsible for a significant portion of trade volumes in derivatives on the exchanges in London, Chicago and Frankfurt. He also co-owns a modeling agency, restaurant, business accelerator TechSquare or DOX Center for contemporary art in Prague which is Central Europe's leading non-profit private gallery. He studied at a high school with extended mathematics classes and graduated from the Univesity of Economics in Prague. He enjoys investing into disruptive projects and thoughts. In 2011 he directed a documentary film I am Fishead - a provocative snapshot of the world we live in.
