🌻 Van Gogh's Sunflowers | Cinematic Pencil Drawing Process

🌻 Van Gogh's Sunflowers | Cinematic Pencil Drawing Process In this video, you can watch the complete pencil drawing process of my interpretation of one of the most famous masterpieces in art history, Van Gogh's Sunflowers. Vincent van Gogh painted the Sunflowers series in 1888 while living in Arles, France. These paintings became some of his most celebrated works and are now considered iconic examples of Post-Impressionist art. Van Gogh viewed sunflowers as symbols of friendship, hope, and vitality, and the series remains among the most recognized artworks in the world. For this black-and-white pencil drawing, I reimagined the expressive composition of the original painting using graphite and tonal shading techniques. Throughout the drawing process, I focused on creating strong contrasts between light and shadow, emphasizing the texture of the flowers, the volume of the vase, and the overall atmosphere of the composition. Using layering, cross-hatching, and gradual tonal transitions, I aimed to capture the unique character and energy of Van Gogh's famous sunflowers while presenting them in a cinematic monochrome style.
