In this video, I venture into one of the most remote areas of Costa Rica to search for one of the strangest and most spectacular animals I've ever seen, the open-crested Royal Flycatcher. A creature that exists here in the rainforest, and that almost no one knows about. I stayed in a treehouse deep in the jungle, we set out at dawn to look for it, I crashed the drone... and even so, I managed to record something I won't easily forget. Costa Rica never ceases to amaze me.
