Ghana and Belarus Sign Major Agreements — Here’s Why It Matters
President John Dramani Mahama has concluded his State Visit to Belarus after holding high-level talks with President Alexander Lukashenko. The visit resulted in the signing of three Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) aimed at strengthening cooperation between Ghana and Belarus in trade, agriculture, investment, technology transfer, and economic development. The agreements establish a Joint Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, strengthen collaboration between the Chambers of Commerce of both countries, and enhance agricultural cooperation. President Mahama says the partnerships could unlock investment opportunities, create jobs, promote innovation, and support Ghana’s long-term development agenda. In this video, we break down what was signed, why it matters, and what it could mean for Ghana’s future. 📧 Business & Sponsorship Inquiries: [email protected] Author Profile Philemon Buabeng popularly known as Kweku Bee Abrante or Kweku Africa is a Ghanaian broadcast journalist, educator, and digital media creator.
