Hello, Story Hunters! This is Treasure Hunter. This is the second part of our journey visiting the Ami-dong area in Seo-gu, a place where Busan's painful history and traces of its fierce lives are fully preserved. We scoured every nook and cranny of the alleys of 'Ami-dong Tombstone Village,' a former Japanese cemetery where people were forced to build and live on top of the graves, searching for tombstones where the past and present are intertwined. We also deeply felt the lingering atmosphere of a disappearing city as we observed the empty houses along Sanbok-ro, which now stand quietly, leaving behind their glorious past. We have packed a rich experience, passing through Seoridan-gil (please stop the name 'Ridan-gil' 😅)—often mentioned as a hot spot but imbued with old-world charm upon actual visit—and continuing to the Cheonmasan Monorail, which offers a panoramic view of Busan Port, as well as a gallery where you can feel the spirit of Choi Min-sik, Korea's first-generation documentary photographer.
