VW Stereo Head Unit Multimedia Touchscreen Repair

A quick video detailing the start to finish removal, repair, and replacement of the headunit in my 2019 VW Passat with a defective Touchscreen. This is a common problems in VW. Save yourself $1500+ by doing this repair yourself. My vehicle is out of warranty so I wanted to attempt my repair myself. Check with your local dealer and find out if your still under warranty before attempting this repair. I highly recommend disconnecting the battery before you disconnect the trim with the ABS status light as you will start pulling a DTC that you will have to get cleared with a scan tool if at anytime you attempted to start power up the car to put it in neutral. I purchased the touchscreen digitizer on Ebay 6.5'' Pastable Touch Screen Digitizer for VW MIB STD2 Car Radio Multimedia Navi https://www.ebay.ca/itm/334650382398 Items Needed: Tools needed are Torx Drivers T20, T9, T6 Some plastic trim removal tools. Patience and common sense... :)
