https://sonbhadra.nic.in/places-of-in... https://sonbhadra.nic.in/culture-heri... https://sonbhadra.nic.in/tourist-places/ जनपद सोनभद्र में देश विदेश के पर्यटकों को रमणीय पर्यटन स्थलों की जानकारी देने के लिए एक डॉक्यूमेंट्री तैयार कराया है जिससे उनकी एक झलक को प्राप्त किया जा सकता है| सोनभद्र सांस्कृतिक, ऐतिहासिक, धार्मिक, आध्यात्मिक, पौराणिक एवं प्राकृतिक संपदाओं, शिलालेखों तथा प्रागैतिहासिक कालीन भित्ति - चित्रों से परिपूर्ण अपनी प्राचीनतम तथा अद्यतन औद्योगिक प्रतिष्ठानों के कारण अपनी अलग पहचान बनाए हुए है। यह जनपद पूरे भारत वर्ष में एक ऐसा जनपद है, जो चार प्रदेशों की सीमाओं मध्य प्रदेश, छत्तीसगढ़, बिहार तथा झारखंड से लगा हुआ है। इस जनपद का मुख्यालय एक काफी ऊंची पहाड़ी पर स्थित है। प्रयाग व काशी के बीच अवस्थित होने एवं सीमावर्ती जनपदों के कारण यह जनपद सांस्कृतिक एवं ऐतिहासिक -दृष्टि से अलग पहचान बनाए हुए है। यह ऋषि-मुनियों एवं तपस्वियों का क्षेत्र रहा है। महाराज भारत के जन्म की गाथा, शकुंतला दुष्यंत का प्रेम प्रसंग , लोरिक मंजरी की प्रेम कहानी, चंद्रकांता का तिलस्मी किला एवं अन्य बहुत सी चीजें आकर्षण का मुख्य केंद्र हैं। जनपद का पूरा क्षेत्र जनजाति संस्कृतियों का केंद्र रहा है एवं आदिवासी गतिविधियों के कारण काफी प्रसिद्ध रहा है। यहां के आदिवासी कलाकार आज भी अपनी कला को संजोए हुए देशी एवं विदेशी पर्यटकों को अपनी ओर आकर्षित करते हैं। प्राकृतिक -दृष्टि से यह चार भागों में विभक्त है उत्तर में गंगा, सोन, कर्मनाशा एवं बेलन का मैदानी भाग, दक्षिण में सोन, रेणु, विजुल और कर्मनाशा का मैदानी भाग तथा पश्चिम में बेलन घाटी का मैदानी भाग में स्थित है। जनपद का अधिकांश भाग पहाड़ों, वनो, झरनों तथा अगणित खोह कंदराओं से परिपूर्ण है। जनपद मुख्यालय से 130 किलोमीटर दक्षिण में रिहन्द जलाशय का निर्माण जल विद्युत उत्पादन के लिए किया गया था , जिसको गोविंद बल्लभ पंत सागर के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। विशाल जलाशय का प्राकृतिक मनोहर -श्य पर्यटकों/सैलानियों को अपनी ओर आकर्षित करने को मजबूर करता है। इसके अतिरिक्त जिला मुख्यालय से महज 12 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर स्थित विश्व का सबसे बड़ा और पुराना फासिल्स है, जो अमेरिका के येलो स्टोन से भी बड़ा है। यह जिवाश्म लगभग 160 करोड वर्ष पुराना है तथा यह फासिल्स देश विदेश के तमाम वैज्ञानिकों, शोधकर्ताओं तथा सैलानियों के आकर्षण का मुख्य केंद्र है एडवेंचर टूरिज्म के अंतर्गत सोन एडवेंचर (कला वात्सल्य ग्राम सोसाइटी) द्वारा संचालित माउंटेनियरिंग, ट्रैकिंग, कैंपिंग, पैरासेलिंग, पैराग्लाइडिंग, पैरामोटरिंग, जिपलाइन, बर्ड वाचिंग, स्टार्गेजिंग, रिवर क्रॉसिंग, वैली क्रॉसिंग , कमांडो कॉलिंग, केव ट्रैवलिंग तथा वाटर स्पोट्र्स पर आधारित खेल के कारण यह जनपद आकर्षण का मुख्य केन्द्र बन गया है। In district Sonbhadra, a documentary has been prepared to give information about the delightful tourist places to the tourists of the country and abroad, so that a glimpse of them can be obtained. Rihand Reservoir, 130 km south of the district headquarters, was constructed for hydropower generation, which is also known as Govind Ballabh Pant Sagar. The natural beauty of the huge reservoir compels tourists to attract towards it. Apart from this, located just 12 kilometers from the district headquarters, there is the world's largest and oldest fossils, which is bigger than America's Yellow Stone. This fossil is about 160 million years old and this fossil is the main center of attraction for all the scientists, researchers and tourists from India and abroad.
