Liebestraum No. 3 (Melody Highlighted)

Liszt Liebestraum No. 3 with melody highlighted. My Backstory: In January 2025 I had a sports injury where I dislocated my right shoulder, had surgery in March for ligament repair, and my right arm was immobilized for 6 months - I picked up piano as an exercise to get my right arm moving again. 9 months ago I got an electric keyboard to start grinding these pieces, and it's really come a long way since then. Back then, I was missing everything playing at half the tempo. This is my final recording for now of this piece, although I am still completely unsatisfied with the playing. I am choosing to cutoff & timebox my practicing here, as my technique improvements are becoming more and more diminished. I will move on to practice other pieces such as (Liszt) Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2, La Campanella, (Chopin) Nocturnes, Other Etudes, Ballades, Polonaises, (Debussy) Arabesque no. 1, Suite Bergamasque, and Animenz arrangements. This will diversify my repertoire and allow me to improve my technique without brute-forcing these pieces for marginal returns. Thank you for reading and following along my journey. I dream of returning to this piece one day when my technique can allow me to push the interpretation to the next level, with no mistakes and perfect control. Note: I edited out two painful mistakes in the audio only, one at (2:12) and another at (3:17). I left them in the video / visualizer so everyone can see them. #piano #liszt #chopped #chud
