Karina Yoma y abogado se refieren a próxima audiencia por querella contra ex alcalde Velásquez

The Antofagasta Guarantee Court has scheduled a hearing for Wednesday, June 17th, to discuss the closure of the investigation into the case involving former mayor Jonathan Velásquez and the family of teacher Katherine Yoma. The legal proceedings began in early April 2024, following the dissemination of the teacher's medical records through the then-mayor's social media accounts. Specifically, on March 24th of that year, the former mayor posted a video exposing health documents related to the teacher, who died on March 7th, after reporting a series of threats and attacks she suffered at the school where she worked. Following this, the teacher's family filed a lawsuit, opening an investigation for the crime of violating confidentiality—a process that has now lasted more than two years.
