30 Sep 2024: 856 Repeatedly Returns to Where 402's Body Lies (explore.org)

For those who may not know, 402 was tragically killed in the lake by 469 on the 30th. I couldn't bring myself to watch or record it. Mike, Naomi, and Sarah discussed the incident on the live chat channel if you want to go back and view it. https://www.youtube.com/live/b5FDOlp3... 469 moved 402's body to the beach just out of sight of the cams and created a cache. The cache was quickly taken over by 32. On three separate occasions I caught 856 approaching the spot. It hasn't been like him to challenge 32 this season and you can see that he was forced back at least once. I don't know if he was drawn to the smell of 402 in particular or just to her body as a food source. He and 402 had a long history, so I like to think it was the former.
