The Masjid is meant to be a “hospital for the soul” and the headquarters for justice. In Part 3, Br Saad delves deeper into Tazkiyah (purification of character) and Adl (the establishment of justice). This applies to all genders and all ages. All are unique Souls. Treating them as anything less is a violation of their Allah( SWT)-given dignity. A true Prophetic Markaz does not just host prayers; it actively dismantles the poisons of gossip, tribalism, and exclusion. It is a place that empowers our youth to move from being silent “attendees” to becoming the creative “architects” of our community’s future. This is about creating a “Pulse” within our community—a culture of care that follows up on every individual, ensuring that no one is ever left to struggle, suffer, or heal alone. Reflective Questions: A Safe Harbor: If a young person in your neighbourhood is struggling with addiction or identity confusion, or isolation or anxiety, do they see the Masjid as a sanctuary of mercy or a place of judgment? The Pulse of Care: Does your Masjid have a “follow-up culture” where a person’s burden is shared, or are you treated merely as a number that enters for prayer and leaves in silence? Are both genders and all ages truly seen as important and cared for? You a Voice Matters: Are the people in your community granted the importance at the Masjid to speak about the current issues that trouble their community? Confronting Injustice: When was the last time your local centre publicly addressed a local or global injustice or corruption and took direct action to relieve it? Rising towards The Fitrah: Rising in Taqwa is a daily exercise in application, not just a theory.
