The dream of true love ends in death: Christina is heavily pregnant when she is murdered in Düren in 2013. Her body is found by a woman walking on a country path next to a wind turbine. But who killed the pregnant woman and why? Suspicion quickly falls on Simon, the father of the unborn child. The pregnancy comes as a surprise to him; he doesn't actually want a child. Therefore, he seeks support from his friend and on-again, off-again lover, Miriam. Together, they hatch a plan to kill the unborn child in the womb. They poison Christina, but both mother and child survive. However, the two persist with their murder plan and attempt to kill the unborn child by other means. After further attempts fail, they decide to kill the heavily pregnant Christina. Our host Florian takes a closer look at the case.
