Epilepsie: Was gibt es Neues aus Forschung und Praxis?
In Germany, 640,000 people have epilepsy. The symptoms are numerous, and the causes are just as varied. An accurate diagnosis is therefore crucial, because with the right treatment, the problems disappear for many affected individuals. In this recording of an information event hosted by the German Brain Foundation on July 12, 2022, experts present the latest developments in this field and what is currently possible in the treatment of children with epilepsy. Featured speakers include: Prof. Dr. Frank Erbguth, President of the German Brain Foundation: The German Brain Foundation – a brief overview Prof. Dr. Felix Rosenow, University Hospital Frankfurt am Main: What's new in research and therapy for epilepsy? PD Dr. Susanne Schubert-Bast, University Hospital Frankfurt am Main: Epilepsy in children – opportunities and risks Events hosted by the German Brain Foundation are free of charge.
