Company of Enthusiasts: We're Into Trucks
Randall Robertson of Rtech Fabrications builds trucks "to do truck things" and catch the eye. Working for a Mercedes Benz repair shop as a 17-year-old, Randall soon built a reputation working on Jaguars, Porsche's and BMW's. 20 years later, Randall decided it was time to semi-retire. That was when his hobby kicked into full gear. After seeing a 1972 black Chevy Crew Cab, Randall knew he had to have it, so he decided to build it himself. After some research, he started cutting up a bunch of vehicles and changed some aspects of the car he thought Chevy wouldn't really do. Once he had everything he needed to make the truck completely out of Chevy metal, it was built. The rest is history.
