Przasnysz, Poland - September 2018

After years of research and searching by my mother, she found the village in Poland that her grandparents came from. In 2018, 92 years after they left, my Mom, my Uncle and I returned to see what they left behind, and to try to understand what it was like for our ancestors. We didn't find all the answers we were looking for as like much of Europe, the World Wars of the first half of the 20th century forever changed, and erased records of much of human history. We did find friendly people, a beautiful community, and traces of those who'd once lived there. and someday, my mom hopes to be able to properly pronounce the name. Music is me meandering around on the lovely piano I had access to when I was in Talinn.
