On my side : Holy Spirit original

The Holy Spirit brought this song to me after a season of my life where I was riddled with anxiety, depression, self-doubt, and consumed by the terrors of this world. Paralyzed by the horrors of this country, not knowing where to look, where to go, or where to turn, I needed to find a grasp of something to hold onto. In that, God gave me this prayer to pray: for a clean and clear heart, for peace of mind, and for Yahweh to breathe life into any situation. I wasn’t planning on publishing this song. It is nowhere near finished, but I can no longer keep this prayer to myself after seeing the news of the young man, Nolan, a 17-year-old who went out for the Fourth of July and did not make it back home to his mother. It breaks my heart to see that, on top of the many stories and horrors of those being kidnapped during the FIFA game, and kids being taken from their parents in this trafficking ring around this country and the world. I hope the Holy Spirit rests, rules, and abides through the waves of this song/prayer, and that He touches the hearts and pierces the hearts of God’s people and this nation.
