[Reporter] Yes, this is the scene of the fire at the Coupang logistics center. [Anchor] What is the current situation regarding the fire? [Reporter] Yes, firefighting operations at the Coupang logistics center have continued for three days. Currently, 231 pieces of equipment and 812 firefighters have been deployed to extinguish the fire. Due to continuous firefighting efforts, the smoke billowing from cracks in the building's exterior walls appears to have decreased somewhat compared to this morning. The fire department has been continuously spraying water through the cracks in the exterior walls using aerial ladder trucks, and it has been determined that the flames are being brought under control in some eastern sections of the logistics center. However, the fire has not yet been brought under control. [Anchor] It rained this morning; did that help with the suppression? [Reporter] Yes, the rain that has been falling since this morning has temporarily subsided. Although rain is forecast for this afternoon as well, it appears unlikely to directly aid in suppression efforts, as the fire inside the building is not exposed to the outside. Video footage captured by a thermal imaging camera last night clearly reveals just how severe the internal flames are, which are invisible from the outside. The areas marked in yellow are around 100 degrees Celsius, while the red areas are reaching as high as 200 to 300 degrees. Even though massive amounts of water were sprayed through the exposed cracks, the tremendous residual heat remains intact. Ultimately, while the monsoon rain may cool the external heat somewhat, it appears unlikely to help suppress the fire in the center. [Anchor] An evacuation order was even issued in the vicinity overnight. Is there a concern about a potential collapse? [Reporter] Yes, Incheon's Seohae District issued an evacuation order around 11 p.m. last night, instructing all residents within a 116-meter radius of the fire site to move to a safe location. This was due to concerns that parts of the logistics center building might collapse as the flames intensified again as night fell. For now, fire authorities are focusing on preventing the spread of the fire by deploying specialized equipment, such as aerial ladder trucks, to areas with the most intense flames. A third fire briefing is scheduled for 2 p.m. shortly, where we are expected to hear specific details regarding the fire suppression situation and the extent of the risk of collapse.
