Today was my first time flying my DJI Neo and flying the drone for the first time. I immediately "used" all three batteries. I tested pretty much everything the drone has to offer. First, the fully autonomous mode without a smartphone or remote control, simply using a button on the drone itself. Of course, the follow mode (i.e., tracking) was a must. Then I connected the Neo to my iPhone and adjusted the QuickShots settings and tested them again. I also tried flying the drone manually with my smartphone. I really liked the different modes, especially the "Directio Track" mode. This lets the drone fly in front of you. Ideal for my video projects. After that, I paired the Neo with the remote control and flew manually. Since I had my DJI Mini 3 Pro with me, I was able to take direct comparison shots to compare the video footage.
