ABOUT "STORIES RETOLD" This series is not a retrospective or a review, it is a retelling of the story itself. It is also being done from the perspective of someone playing through the games for the first time beginning with Metroid Prime 1. No info or knowledge from a wiki, comics or other games come in until the end - this is a chronological retelling of the story, its lore and overall experience from beginning to end. In this video series, we retell the story of Samus Aran and her adventures on planet Aether. Those who rule the darkness take many shapes and many names. In this chapter of her story, they are known as The Ing; a race created out of a cataclysmic event that tore the planet into two halves. They govern the half of shadow with tyranny and absolutism and now turn to conquer all that lies outside of their domain.
