San Diego Mystery Snake: A Western Diamondback Found Outside It's Natural Range
We found a rattlesnake in the heart of Poway that was strange and unique to us. Watch how we identified this species and compare it to San Diego native rattlers. Turns out it was a Crotalus Atrox, which doesn't exist naturally in San Diego County. Its closest natural range is Imperial County. How it got into the heart of San Diego, we will never know.
