I thought I was saving well for a couple of months, but as summer began, grocery and dining out expenses started to rise little by little. 🥹 This video captures the actual living expenses of a family of four up to mid-July, along with stories about home cooking, grocery shopping, daily life with the kids, worries about summer vacation, and the running and home workouts I've started! We eat well and laugh with the kids, but sometimes we clash with my 10-year-old daughter over trivial matters; we went to buy just one bunch of green onions and ended up with a surplus in our shopping cart; and we even ordered chicken under the pretext of the "Midsummer Festival." After visiting a bookstore on a hot day, the dreaded cost of eating out was added to the mix 😂 Still, we are finding our own balance by making sure to eat what we have in the refrigerator and buying just one ice cream each during our evening walks. A life where we spend only what we can afford, without giving up on the things we want to eat or the small joys of spending time with the kids. So, today, I am recording the ordinary living expenses and real-life parenting of our family.
