EastEnders: Nick Cotton Scenes - Epsode 159 (Part 1 of 3)

Welcome to the 00s and stint 11. Nick returns after two and a bit years a bit in a red car (which we find out is company hired). He goes into the cafe, instantly getting bad vibes from Phil Mitchell. He asks for Janine Butcher's number (back off, Nicky boy; you were already too old for teenagers in '85). Though she seems into it. The first girl that seemed game onscreen. He taunts Ian a bit before spotting Eddie Skinner on the stall (who he seems to know but Eddie pretends he don't know him). He greets his ma 'Hello Ma'. Though she's not happy to see him. She doesn't think he's changed at all and accuses him of stealing his suit and car. Nick encourages Martin to tell Dot he's taking Ashley to Inverness in Scotland. He lets Ashley know this is a ploy to get back in Dot's good books because of course he it is. He calls Zoe Slater goregous (and he really needs to back off) but she seems to fancy him back for some reason, she loves her 80s bad boys clearly. He insists he's changed to Dot. He also confirms he's 36 in this bit of dialogue (putting his birth year as 1964). Yeah, okay; Nick; sure you are. He also seems to comfirms the 'Return of Nick Cotton' as canon? No, I refuse to accept that too. He spots a drunk Ian and instead of hitting him after he insults him, he helps him home; you are so easy to impress, Dorothy. Finally, after threatenting to take Ashley with him to Inverness; Dot says he can stay the night. Well done, Nicholas. Job done. 13th November 2000.
