How to Play Klaverjassen | a Dutch trick taking card game

This is how to play Klaverjassen, a Dutch trick taking card game for 4 players. Usually played in partnerships, each team is trying to be the first to reach 500 points or more. Once a trick is lead, players must follow the lead suit if they can. If they cannot follow suit, they must play a trump card. If they cannot follow or play trump, they may play any card. If the trump suit is led, players must follow suit AND they must be the highest card played if they can. Once an off-suit trump card is played, other players who can't follow suit must beat the trump card if they can.
