Linkdata 65P 21700 6500mAh Cell | 30A Load Test & Thermal Results

In this video I test the Linkdata 65P 21700 6500mAh lithium-ion cell at a 30A constant current discharge. The goal of this test is to find the real constant current capability of the cell, not just repeat datasheet numbers. In this case, the cell was discharged from 4.2V down to 2.5V at 30A and was able to complete the full discharge without exceeding 80°C. That is important because a cell can only be considered capable of a current level if it can complete the discharge safely without overheating. Voltage sag, temperature rise, capacity delivered, watt-hours, and final cutoff behavior all matter. This test helps show how the Linkdata 65P performs under real load conditions and gives a better idea of what this cell can actually handle in battery pack applications. Test details shown in the video: 30A constant current discharge Full discharge from 4.2V to 2.5V Temperature monitored during the test Voltage sag observed under load Capacity and watt-hours recorded Thermal behavior reviewed More batteries and testing tools: https://diy500amp.com Results can vary depending on ambient temperature, test fixture resistance, cooling, cutoff voltage, cell age, and equipment used. This test represents my results under my test conditions.
