Anytone AT-779UV my thoughts after using it.
sold as a gmrs radio or $99. unlike the 778 it has dedicated volume knob . and vox. older 778 has no vox if it matters. it has unfortunately a fused cigarette light plug permanently attached, no T connector. given all that though for $99 you could definitely do a lot worse. and it seems to scan reasonably fast so that's a good thing. here's an affiliate link if you want to pick one up for yourself just make sure when you order it from the seller that you order it from a seller that has a good score that way if you do have problems the seller will take care of you. I have attached an affiliate link with the best seller that I could find for this particular radio https://amzn.to/4rpP8LP
