Hestercombe Georgian Landscape Garden in Somerset

In the summer of 2024 we visited Hestercombe Georgian Landscape Garden near Somerset. Rachel and her friend Alison, who volunteers at the property, wandered around in their Regency costumes while Andrew filmed this video and took photos. The Georgian garden at Hestercombe was created in the 1750s. There were some Victorian and Edwardian additions, but by the mid-twentieth century the gardens had falled into disrepair. Recovery began in the 1970s. Today, both the house and gardens at Hestercombe are being restored.
