Boil potatoes until soft. 2. Mash with butter, milk, salt and pepper. 3. Cook onion and garlic in olive oil. 4. Add mince and brown well. 5. Add carrots and tomato purée. 6. Season and simmer. 7. Layer half the mash. 8. Add meat filling. 9. Cover with remaining mash. 10. Brush with egg. 11.
