UNSEEN 1957 Interview - NANNIE DOSS - The Giggling Granny Serial Killer

Another film from the Bob Mills archive, kindly donated by his daughter Paula. Mills was a TV personality in San Diego for many years in the 1960s-70s era. Much of that time he was at Channel 8, and any of those films will be posted on their YouTube channel. Anything he did after leaving Channel 8 will be posted here. This is a 1957 interview that Mills conducted with Nannie Doss, aka The Giggling Granny. Doss poisoned and murdered 11 family members from the 1920s-1950s. In 1954 she was convicted of one of those murders and sentenced to life in prison. She died of leukemia in prison in 1965. As far as I can tell, this film is unique, as I can't find another like it online. As such, given the notoriety of the interviewee, I've put a watermark on the film. The sound quality of the optical recording on the film itself leaves something to be desired, the microphone having been placed too far away from the subjects. I've cleaned it up as best I could, but it's still rather poor, so I've added subtitles to clarify what's being said.
