In Super Mario Odyssey, we'll show you how to jump farther in the sky from high places (we call it the Sky Jump). Specifically, this trick involves canceling a jump- hip drop- roll in mid-air and adjusting the angle to fly smoothly like skydiving. We'll also show you a high-flying move by rolling onto your hat, as well as a more advanced move that adds additional actions from special moves. In the second half of the video, we'll also include a scene where you can take a shortcut using a new move. Using all of these techniques will allow you to jump significantly farther, so be sure to give it a try. It's sure to add to your enjoyment of exploring the world of Super Mario Odyssey! [Note 1] To roll onto your hat, you'll need to use a little ingenuity. For example, you can hold the hat by pressing the X button with your middle finger and roll with the Y button (or vice versa).
