In conversation with Gabriela Carrizo, choreographer of "La Visita"
We had the chance to meet with choreographer Gabriela Carrizo, and learn more about the creation process of her new work La Visita, winner of the FEDORA - VAN CLEEF & ARPELS Prize for Ballet 2021, produced by Fondazione I Teatri Reggio Emilia. She told us all about the opportunities and challenges of creating a piece within a museum. The premiere took place in Collezione Maramotti – Max Mara in Reggio Emilia, Italy last Autumn. Learn more about where she draws her inspiration and what role sound effects and music play in this new work.
