These days, there’s a better way - the Way of the Workstation! These PCs were built to handle more than 4 cores and 8 threads, can support larger graphics cards, and have tons of room for extra expansion with more drive bays and RAM slots than your typical Optiplex. What’s more, these days, they’re getting pretty cheap - this Lenovo rig set me back just over £200!
